Ancient wisdom meeting modern water science

Abbaiah’s Noble Heritage

Since 1930

The journey begins with Abbaiah, a master mason (mesthri) whose work was defined by the grand scale of the Mysore Royalty. Working under the guidance of Marsamappa, Abbaiah led a monumental team of 80 laborers to execute the historic Kaveri pipeline project, a feat of engineering that stretched from Kannambadi through Mysore and Shimsha into the growing heart of Bangalore. Under the Maharaja’s vision to drought-proof the region, Abbaiah became a preeminent specialist in sacred water architecture. He personally constructed 300 Kalyanis (temple’s Kalyani) and restored 100 more across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. His true mastery lay in “Rainwater Pathways”—the intricate art of grading land so that every single drop of rain was diverted into a reservoir rather than being lost to waste.

Chinna Muniyappa’s Life

Since 1950

The mantle of conservation was passed to Chinna Muniyappa, a man whose life’s work became a bridge between traditional wisdom and modern environmental engineering. Originally a farmer from Vaddarpalya, Thally, near Hosur, who understood the pain of severe drought firsthand, Muniyappa moved to Bangalore to join forces with Abbaiah. Under his mentorship, he transitioned from traditional farming to mastering the technicalities of soil works, drainage systems, and complex rainwater routes. Over a prolific 67-year career, Muniyappa led a team of 20 across five states, including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, kerala & Maharashtra. His impact on the landscape is staggering; he implemented over 2 lakh rainwater harvesting units, dedicated his later years to lake restoration, and became a renowned figure in the revival of traditional wells.

Naveen’s Modern Expertise

Since 2018

Today, the third generation is represented by Naveen R, the grandson of Chinna Muniyappa. Naveen’s connection to water was forged in childhood, spent shadowing his grandfather and Abbaiah on dusty project sites where he learned to “read” the land before he could even read a blueprint. Although he initially entered the corporate world at a Multi-National Corporation (MNC), the call of his environmental roots and the sight of a growing water crisis proved too strong to ignore. Leaving the corporate sector to honor his family’s legacy, Naveen obtained a formal license in Rainwater Harvesting (RWH), effectively bridging the gap between ancestral wisdom and modern environmental science. Under his leadership, RN Enviro Solutions has evolved into a tech-forward consultancy.

Our Journey

A century of expertise in every drop

RN Enviro Solutions is built upon a century-old legacy of water wisdom, rooted in the visionary work of our founder, Abbaiah, and the lifelong dedication of Chinna Muniyappa. By masterfully blending the traditional science of “Rainwater Pathways” with modern hydrological engineering, we provide specialized services in Rainwater Harvesting, Borewell Recharge, and the restoration of Lakes, Kalyanis, and Stepwells. Our mission is to move beyond simple water extraction and focus on scientific replenishment, ensuring that every drop of rain is captured and returned to the earth to revive drying aquifers. Whether for residential, industrial, or heritage sites, we combine our deep-rooted family expertise with advanced filtration and injection technologies to turn seasonal runoff into a permanent resource for our communities.

Our Vision

Empowering Industries and Homes

Our vision is to transform the global approach to water from simple extraction to scientific replenishment, ensuring a water-secure future for generations to come. By honoring the century-old legacy of Abbaiah and Chinna Muniyappa, we aim to restore the Earth’s natural “Rainwater Pathways” through the perfect harmony of ancestral wisdom and modern hydrological engineering. We envision a world where every household, industry, and community is water-independent, where drying aquifers are revived, and where our sacred water bodies flow with life once again. At RN Enviro Solutions, we strive to be the definitive bridge between a rich heritage of conservation and the urgent environmental needs of the 21st century

Our Mission

Excellence Without Limits

Our mission is to empower communities with total water independence by implementing high-efficiency Rainwater Harvesting and Borewell Recharge systems. Drawing from over 100 years of family expertise and the 2 lakh unit milestone of Chinna Muniyappa, we are committed to moving beyond simple water usage to active replenishment of our Earth’s aquifers. We strive to provide professional, licensed hydrological solutions that restore Lakes, Kalyanis, and Stepwells, ensuring that every drop of rain follows its natural pathway back into the ground. Through the leadership of Naveen R, we combine ancestral wisdom with corporate-grade precision to secure a sustainable, water-rich future for residential, industrial, and heritage sites across the region
